Blending In
Chameleons cleverly blend in with the environment around them and hide in plain sight. It’s a protection device. Think about people you know who are chameleons. Do you have judgements about people who blend in? What about people that survive? You can also think about the concept of hiding and all the ways there are to hide or to blend in. Write a scene about a character who is blending in or being hunting. Write an anthem to survivors. Write a poem about the fear of being hunted. Or perhaps add to this desert scape, populating it with chameleon friends or the hunter on the prowl.
